01 · HEALTHKITWhat data does Steps use?
With your explicit permission, Steps reads only your step count from Apple Health. It uses this data to show your daily progress, weekly overview, and streak. Steps does not write data to Apple Health.
02 · ON DEVICEWhat is stored?
Your daily goal, display preference, a local step cache, and completed goal days are stored in the private app group. This lets the app, widgets, and Watch extensions share the same settings.
03 · NO TRANSFERWhat leaves your device?
Nothing. Steps has no backend, user accounts, analytics, advertising, or social media services. Health data is never transferred to us or third parties, sold, or used for advertising.
04 · YOUR CONTROLHow do you revoke or delete?
You can revoke access to step data at any time in Apple Health or system settings. Local app data is removed when you delete Steps and its companion Watch app from your devices.
05 · THIS WEBSITEPrivacy on this page
